Remembrance Service

Every year we hold a Remembrance Service on the school yard and invite parents, families and the local community. Due to COVID-19, we were not able to do that this year, but were able to carry out a socially distanced service and invited parents and member of our local community.  Children read out the names of all who had died from the local area during the wars.

Each class laid a wreath that they made and there was also a wreath laid on behalf of children, staff and parents of New Marske.

Even during these difficult times, the PTFA have been incredibly busy arranging a range of activities to help support our pupils in school. These events have included a socially distanced Halloween disco and contributions to our Reading Shed. Over the coming months there will be a range of Christmas activities organised across school. All of these events are well supported by pupils and will raise vital funds for school which will be used to support learning activities in all year groups.
