On the 19th of February 2018 we were delighted to receive a letter from Nick Gibb, the Minister of State for School Standards who congratulated us for the very high level of progress in reading, writing and mathematics.
Mr Gibb’s letter commented that the results place us in the top 2% of schools nationally for the progress our pupils make between key stage one and the end of key stage two.
This is a wonderful achievement and recognition of the hard work all of our teachers and pupils put into their learning. Over the past four years our school has had a relentless focus on improving the educational attainment of all of our pupils and the results of that are being seen across school.
This letter follows the letter we received last year for our excellent attainment in mathematics.
Well done to everyone who has worked so hard to ensure that New Marske Primary School is a place when pupils can achieve.
